He also performed most of the system installations for their customers at various sites all over
the US.
In July 1999 he decided to leave LAN International and has since worked with WEB site development
for e-commerce applications, built on Microsoft IIS / ASP / SQL Server.
Recent development projects
John is currently the Chief Technical Officer of
iShop International, a members only shopping portal,
that he has spent about a year and a half developing. iShop has now over 2000 Merchants and over
8000 members currently representing 130 countries worldwide.
As a member of the design and implementation team for
Kawama Commerce and
Greentrac.com, John was directly involved in the large-scale
development of a multi tiered e-commerce system. Although both were commerce sites each had its own
unique development challenges.
Both systems technical architecture provided the framework for
integration to backend system making a complete procurement process possible. The catalog design
utilizes business processes and logical partnership with other web enabled catalogs.
As a sub-contractor John's direct involvement with the end users was
instrumental to its success.
